Mike Diffenderffer has over 30 years of experience in the club industry and is considered by many to be the industry’s leading expert in marketing innovation and membership sales. He has been a frequent speaker over the years at educational conferences for the club industry. He has spent the past 20 years as the Director of Marketing and Membership for the PGA TOUR’s Tournament Players Club Network. In that role, he was responsible for the total sales and marketing functions at each of the TPC’s. This included market evaluations, market studies, creation of marketing and sales plans, budgeting and the hiring and training of the marketing staff. Mr. Diffenderffer was responsible for over $300 million in membership sales and was responsible for the development and implementation of some of the industry’s most innovative marketing plans and strategies. Prior to working with the PGA TOUR, he was responsible for marketing and private club membership sales for ClubCorp. Mr. Diffenderffer is a graduate of Drury College and attended graduate school at the University of Missouri School of Journalism. |
