Senior Consultant Construction Management
Chris Wilkerson has over 25 years in the construction and construction management industry, with over 15 years of experience in golf course and clubhouse construction management. He spent over 12 years as the Vice President and Director of Construction for PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties. In that role, he was responsible for the construction of 17 Tournament Players Club golf courses, clubhouses and golf course maintenance facilities, with oversight of $175 million in construction budgets. He was also responsible for the construction of the World Golf Hall of Fame and PGA TOUR Productions in St. Augustine, Florida.
Over the past several years Mr. Wilkerson has been the President of Wilkerson and Associates and has been responsible for numerous golf related as well as highly regarded commercial projects. He has a tremendous academic background with an undergraduate degree in building construction from Auburn University along with a PH.D. and several Master’s degrees from numerous universities. He was a former Captain in the United States Air Force and has been an instructor in construction related subjects at Harvard University and the University of North Florida. Mr. Wilkerson is a member of virtually every major construction and golf related professional affiliation in the United States. |
