Bill Reid is one of the most highly regarded members of the Professional Golfer’s Association of America, with over 35 years of experience in upscale golf and club operations. Most recently, he has been involved in the development of premiere golf related real estate projects, serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Huntsman Springs in Driggs, Idaho from 2005 to 2008 and as the Chief Operating Officer of Teton Springs in Victor, Idaho from 2002 to 2005. Prior to Mr. Reid’s involvement in those projects, he served the Tournament Player’s Club Network and PGA TOUR Golf Properties for over 20 years. Mr. Reid was the General Manager of several TPC’s, including the TPC Network’s largest properties, the TPC at Sawgrass and the TPC of Scottsdale. In addition, he also served with distinction as a Regional Director of Operations for the TPC Network. Prior to joining the PGA TOUR, Mr. Reid served as the head golf professional at the prestigious Sahalee Country Club and Wenatchee Golf and Country Club, both in the state of Washington.
Mr. Reid is a 33 year Life Member of the PGA of America and a past member of the Club Manager’s Association of America. He was a former Captain in the United States Army, a past Chairman of the PGA of America’s National Employment Committee and a former Board Member of the Professional Golf Communities Association. He has been a member of the Teton County Chamber of Commerce Board and the Teton County Hospital Board. He has also been named to the Lexington List of Who’s Who in American Business and has earned many of the most significant golf industry related awards.
